Gary Bigus

Gary describes the challenges faced by some of the newcomers to Shanghai, as well as his social life there. All of the Jews who fled to Shanghai in 1938 and 1939 did so to avoid Nazi persecution, and many managed to build a normal life there despite the massive changes they experienced.
